The Cure for Happiness

Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's 'Cure for Insomnia' video, I based this piece on a cure for happiness. This piece is of course satire and isn't meant to be taken seriously. But the reasoning behind it is important.

They say an artists soul is represented in art. I think in most cases that's true. In this case it is and this piece just represents a slightly darker satirical side I wanted to show. I in no way advocate what's in the piece, but I was on a low in life and decided to channel those emotions into a piece. I always thought the 'Cure for Insomnia' video was a really creepy and dark humor piece of work and wanted my own version of it loosely based on the original.

This piece was sort of a one and done type thing. No actual drafts existed. I just kept messing around till I got what I got
There's nothing much to say really. I just did it and this is what I did. Though for what its worth, I did have some fun. The strangeness of everything was just a good time all together. No deep meaning, no window into my soul. Just a thing. It's so easy to get lost in trying to convey something powerful that I think a lot of people forget, stuff like this can just be for fun too. It can just be a vibe
